VINEGAR
Vinegar is a source of essential amino acids, vitamins, minerals,
and enzymes. It contains complex carbohydrates and dietary fibre.
When made from apples, vinegar contains pectin which binds to cholesterol
and takes it out of the body. Over the centuries, it has been used
for a multitude of uses including fighting germs, easing pain, improving
health, cutting grease, and cleaning.
As a flea control:
Bath dog. Rinse in one-third pint colourless pickling malt vinegar
to two-thirds pint warm water.
Add two tablespoons apple cider vinegar to dog's food.
Garlic is also thought to be a flea (as well as a nosferatu!) deterrent.
In nine months, two fleas can generate 222 trillion descendants. They
can live two years, they're built to survive the most frigid winters
and they can go months without eating. |
