Champions received perpetual trophies presented by Peter Kay-Kujawski. Champions received large bags of Wafcol, presented by Val Osborn. Rob Henbury and Rebecca Steadman repeated their victories, three seasons in a row, in EF and J1 Classes respectively, with Stuart Murray repeating his 07/08 win in DS Class.  Adam Johnson and his Mal won the perpetual trophy for highest placed single dog, presented by retired musher Elaine Burroughs, with his super 2nd place as a new musher in EF Class. Paige Barsby won the perpetual trophy for highest placed junior running Mals, presented by the Martyn family, with her 3rd place in J1 Class. Justin Houghton and Stuart Marle provided a nail-biting finish in DF Class, with only 4 points separating them after the last leg. No Champion Musher this season achieved maximum possible points.
