ABSA EVENTS RESULTS 2007/08
ABSA will oversee a total of 10 events during the 2007/2008 Season. With events held by other societies, the UK will nationally host more than 50 sleddog events in total during the five and a half months of the sleddog season which runs from mid-October through to beginning April; maintaining an average of 10 events per month each season.

"I would like to thank the ABSA committee for inviting me to judge this show. I really enjoyed my day and thought the quality of the dogs was excellent which made my job quite difficult in some classes. A big thank you to my steward for the day, Jenny Berry, who steered me through the classes and challenges and made my life a lot easier."

BABY PUPPY 3-5mths (6 entries)
1. Davies' SH Klewagin Taima taf.  BP.
5 month old Siberian dog. Well developed for age with a good shoulder. Very pleasing head which was nicely marked. Correct feet. A little erratic on the move at the moment but is only a baby.
2. Davies' SH Klewagin Kitche taf.
3. Garner's SH Greentrail Dark Lord.
4. O'Brien-Busby's SH Rajarani Shes Got Style.

MINOR PUPPY 6-9mths (2)
1. Wooliscroft's SH Cimmaron Babe Ruth at Zarchenski.
9 month old Siberian bitch puppy. Pretty head. Good reach of neck. Well set tail and good bone. Both these were playing up but I thought 1. had the better outline and moved better behind.
2. Wooliscroft's SH Cimmaron Las Vegas Kid at Zarchenski.

PUPPY 6-11mths (14)
1. McMillan's SH Kovomor Kanuk Canada Dry.
Lovely 11 month old black and white siberian dog puppy. Excellent bone and well developed body for age. Correct feet on which he moved very well.
2. Wooliscroft's SH Nashanessen Pyramid at Zarchenski.
3. Ward's SH Nashanessen's Peyto
4. McMillan's SH Kovomor Kokomokka.
5. Wooliscroft's SH Chukotski Rena at Zarchenski.

JUNIOR 12-18mths (4)
1. Bradley's SH Rajarani Zora for Snostopin.
16 month old siberian bitch. Had an excellent front with a deep chest, well set on tail. Liked her head which had correct ears and almond eyes. Good reach of neck and moved very well around the ring.
2. Bradley's SH Rajarani Christmas Magick at Snowstopin.
3. Hodgson's AM Shepherdsway Black Beauty for Ataneq.

YEARLING 12-23mths (8)
1. Croman's SH Larcas Smokin Gun at Cromarty.
Very nice black and white Siberian dog. Pleasing expression, good bone and correct feet. Liked his outline with a good shoulder and good depth of chest. Well set tail and excellent front and rear which showed in his movement. Pressed very hard in the challenge.
2. Brading's SH Aceca's Wild Honey.
3. Reeves' SH Zaisan Zarran Vilkas.
4. Lawson's SH Rykalov Mystery.
5. Aiston's AM Myatuk Blue Moon.

YOUTH 2-3yrs (10)
1. Bradley's SH Skimarque Snolite Skookum at Snostopin. BB & BOS.
Liked this Siberian bitch very much. Very distinctive black and white markings. Lovely gentle expression with correct eye and ear set. Good bone and deep chest. Very sound front and rear with a level topline and well set tail. She was so light on the move and moved effortlessly around the ring. Was pleased to award her Best Bitch and Best Opposite sex.

4. Garner's SH Wildenfree Cheeky Moo of Greentrail.

ADULT DOG 2-6yrs (9)
1. Wooliscroft's SH Zarchenski Hong Kong Fuey JW. BD & BIS.
Very well balanced Siberian with a lovely outline. Excellent bone and substance with a deep chest
  and good reach of neck leading to a well set tail. Masculine head with a lovely expression and correctly set ears. Moved so well around the ring with a good action and thoroughly deserved Best in Show.
2. Finnegan's SH Salexte's Wild Tornado.
3. Ward's SH Muskeg Guardian High.
4. Davies' SH Zateizzi Dorsoduro with Snowpawz.
5. Croman's SH Larcas Frenzy of Cromarty.

ADULT BITCH 2-6yrs (11)
1. Davies' SH Azgard in Violet with Snowpawz.
Very pretty Siberian bitch with well proportioned head. Very nice outline with a deep cest and good substance. Was very sound on the move.
2. Reeves' SH Zaisan Zanoni Amber.
3. Garner's SH Tokyn Kady of Greentrail.
4. Harrison's SH Brushbow Fans T'Breeze.
5. Brading's SH Aceca's Juliet.

YOUNG VETERAN 7-9yrs (5)
1. Jones' SH Wildenfree Restless. BV.
7year old Siberian bitch who had good bone and substance. Excellent feet on which she moved very well both ways. Very well proportioned head with a pretty expression and well set ears.
2. Harrison's SH Brushbow Comin' Atcha.
3. Matherick's SH Lapatka Kirensk.
4. Finnegan's SH Nikishka Lacey Coyote.
5. Garner's SH Azgard Valorous Knight.

AGED VETERAN 10+yrs (4)
1. Finnegan's SH Wildenfree Forester.
12 year old red Siberian dog. This boy had a lovely outline with a level topline and good neck. Excellent bone and feet. Masculine head with a gentle expression. Such a happy disposition and thoroughly enjoying his day out.
2. Harrison's SH Brushbow Electraglide.
3. Finnegan's SH Ollav the Druid.
4. Wooliscroft's SH Skimarque Laska Phire of Zarchenski.

OPEN DOG 1+yrs (4)
1. Marle's AM Kegluneq Cassanova. RBD & RBIS.
Stunning Black and White Malamute. Had a classic head with lovely expression and correct ears that were well set. Lovely deep chest and good shoulder with slightly sloping topline leading to a well set tail. Ample bone and substance and tight feet. Presentation was superb but just thought the Siberian moved a little better in the challenge. Well deserved Reserve Best in Show.

Another lovely malamute bitch of excellent size and substance. Pretty feminine head with well set ears. Strong front and rear with a deep chest and well set tail. Moved and showed well and pressed very hard for best bitch.
2. Davies' SH Azalas Crisanda Nitika with Snowpawz.
3. Brading's SH Aceca's Wild Honey.
4. Finnegan's SH Azahars Snow Flake.
5. Matherick's SH Vanmavrix Secret Taboo.

SPECIAL YOUTH 2-3yrs (1)
1. Holbourn's SHX Diesel.
Very nice rescue Siberian-x dog who loved his food. Masculine head, well muscled body and correct tail. Moved very well and enjoyed his day out.

SPECIAL ADULT 2-6yrs (1)
1. Holbourn's SH Skye.
Lovely red Siberian bitch – very pretty well proportioned head with lovely markings. Good bone and deep chest and correct feet.

SPECIAL VETERAN 7+yrs (1)
1. McMillan's SH Misha.
Lovely black and white Siberian bitch who has good bone and a nice outline. Pretty head with well set ears. Moved really well both ways.

BROOD BITCH (2)
1. Harrison's SH Brushbow Lets Her Pony Run.
Very similar mother and daughters.

BRACE (3)
1. Harrison's SHs.
Very well matched pair who moved well together.
2. Bradley's SHs.

Very much in unison and went around the ring in unison.
